Default Calling lake and props !

Might be heading up to Calling this week end and need info about hidden bolders or sand bars . Are there any around the boat launches, that i need to watch out for .
I was at south buck last weekend and the north campground launch had a few hidden bolders, as does Pigeon lake ,haveing a shallow boat launch. Both lakes have taken out my props.

The boat launch can be perfectly fine, or a disaster waiting to happen. Depends on the wind. Calling is one of those lakes that doesn't seem to be very calm, very often. Most of the time it's a gamble that the waves won't be 2-footers and they usually seem to be pounding in on the boat launch. If you're concerned about getting the boat banged up, make sure you survey the situation and use your own judgment. I've always launched without incident but more than once I've seen people having lots of problems.
