Default Yeah I remember encouraging my boys to cheer for the Oilers

When they were the only Alberta team to make the playoffs but I guess no amount of whiskey can make a class act.
Flames just happen to be one of the most interesting teams to watch this year. Never quit and loads of heart!

Theirren, Cooper, laviolette, Hitchcock, vigneault and Capuano for the NY teams have outside shots imo

I'd say if TB makes a good run Cooper gets the Adams

I thought Adams was guy who did the best with the least, not someone with a very, very deep talent pool.....

Basylma won with Pens, Budreau with Caps, Julien with Bruins, all deep teams heck Roy's Avs had over 110 pts last year when he won

I just noticed Phoenix is 4 points behind the Oilers. The Oilers are such losers they cannot even get losing for a better draft pick right.

Just as well, they would find away to ruin the better draft pick anyways...GFG

If the Flames make the playoffs Hartley will be one of the three finalists for the Adams and rightly so, he is a great coach.

I think we both know the odds of this happening are around 0%

Haters are going to hate, I guess misery wants company? All I know is the Oil will still be below wherever we finish off. Bennett next year will bring another welcome punch and oh yeah, safe to say he will out do Draisatl

Yeah, the old rebuild can be a rocky road, the Avs are gonna miss. I'm gonna just enjoy the ride, been awhile since meaningful games were played in March

Whacked the Oil, shut out the likes of Hall, Eberle, Yakupov, beat 'em 3-Zip, Oilers traded in their sticks for their putters in Nov. Flames go 1-1-1 last three they're in. Interviews on Radio & TV every day, Fans really excited for their team. Not a slam-dunk but closer with every win. Go Flames Go !!!

They will need to be 2-1 in final 3 IMO.
And kings are likely gunna make it. they are just too strong right now.
So that leaves the Jets, Flames or Jets, final game, gunna be a good one.
And Buffelupagus is a non issue, he can be lazy.
If Jets win next weekend it will be because of Little or Ladd, not Buff.
Flames need to get in the position of Jets needing a regulation win, that could be the decider for get Flames in.
Jets pull the goalie in a tie game, yehaa.

So it is true. When mods fight the earth trembles and the heavens crack with lightning. Loud screams echo from all around.

Oh wait. I just stubbed my toe really bad.

Sure didn't look good last night.
Ortio is still out.
Hillier is our only hope.........

The playoff race is so tight, but so exciting.

I believe they are going to make the playoffs (Jets will be the odd team out) but I don't know if they get the wildcard or 3rd in the Pacific.

We get the Kings at home, that will be the key.

was at the game last night, nothing exciting to watch , seemed like more flame fans than Oilers there last night, some good banners out there too

Props to Hiller for delivering a shutout coming off the bench.
Flames tie a franchise record with 22 road wins.
Wideman sets career high in points and continues with strong leadership.
Grannies has best game of year with the Flames.
And we still have Bennett to add to the mix.

Need two wins in next three games. GFG!!!

The only concern is Ramo, particularly with Ortio still injured. I guess they could bring up Macdonald, he had a couple of decent games with the Flames and played a few in the bigs, but all the same....I hope Ramo is ok. That was just such a weird thing, a simple stop, and he is gone. The next week is going to be tense, Flames could use some help from Vancouver and St. Louis beating the Kings (but Kings have owned the nuks this season, Blues might spank them though). I kinda don't think the Oilers are going to be much help, and the Flames Kings game should be a exciting.

The Jets might have a say in this, I hope it doesn't boil down to the last game next Saturday and the Jets have made it ....Maurice should also be considered if these others guys are...

Careful on the private info as it is getting spread to other forums with your name attached. Wouldn't want the wife in the soup if it is the real deal.
