Default Tried with 7mm rem Mag

I tried it with 7 mm rem magnum. I was shooting 150 gr accubond long range bullets. I had some sub moa groups but nothing 1/2 moa. I think the velocity was around 3050 if I recall correctly.

I was thinking about trying it in my .338LM. But I got a deal on a lot of Retumbo. I may in the future look at it. It shows a bit slower than Retumbo, but the cost is attractive.

I see Hodgdon only lists 7977 with the 300 wsm in the 200 grain and up bullet weights so that may be a non-starter for you if you want to shoot lighter bullets.
They also list only 250 grain bullet and up data for the 338 win mag so that again may be a non-starter for you depending on what you have in mind for bullet weight.
Velocities look to be very similar for 7828 in those calibers.
