Default Good Reloading Book

Hey guys, I have been reloading for a few years now and have a number of reloading manuals that I have read through a few times but I'm in search of a good technical book about reloading. The more I read on here I realize that I still have a ton to learn about the finer details to reloading and want to be as educated as possible on the subject.

If anyone can recommend a good book, one more technical than just basics of reloading it would be greatly appreciated.

Default Abc's of reloading.

Have you read the ABC's of reloading, when I got into it this book came highly recommend. Personally I found a fair bit of it over my head and more technical than I needed for my basic hunting needs.

Good luck let us know what you find

Default Reloading Book

I have a half dozen or so reloading manuals.

The one I find I go to most is Modern Reloading by Richard Lee. I have the second edition, 719 pages. There maybe a newer edition by now, mine is dated 2003.

It explains in detail the various process and reasoning behind them. The nice thing I like about it, is it is not one bullet manufacturer based. It lists all available bullets by weight. There is loading data for eight different powder companies.

Not sure that any one book will give you all you may want to know about.
Litz and a few others have books out that get into some of the finer details you may be thinking of. It isn't just the making of the ammo, it is also understanding the environmental conditions it is shot in, the setup of the gun, the details of the assembly and fit of the gun, the mental attitude of the operator and what discipline you are interested in working in.

Get a copy of Hatcher's Notebook. Not specifically about reloading but lots of good general information.
