Default Haig Lake

Me and a couple of guys are thinking of going up to Haig Lake for opening weekend and were wondering if anyone has an ice report for the lake? Has anyone ever fished there on openening day with the ice being off?

If you're talking Haig Lake up the Castle Valley, given the snowpack they've had up there this year, you'll have Ice/Snow cover on the lake well into June. If it gets really hot for a while you might see some open water.

Nevermind. We're talking different "Haig Lakes". Apologies. That was kind of obvious.

Is this the Haig Lake in Jasper National Park? If so still tonz of ice and snow on the lake, may take till mid June for the ice to be off. Just drove by it on Thurs so...
