Default Floating & camping trip down the Bow

Hi Guys,

I want to plan a float down the Bow and would like to do an overnight trip. I have only done one float before and I didn't organize it. Would really appreciate some advise on where to put in & pull out, the float times between locations, and a decent spot to pitch a tent for the night. I have heard of people camping on the islands south of Calgary??

I have been thinking about hooking a dingy up to the pontoon boat for the trip but was wondering if this would cause problems while fishing. I am not sure how else I would get the gear down the river for an overnight trip if we didn't have an equipment carrier...

Any suggestions or advise would be great!!

Thanks

Winger

Here's a distance map to get you started. There's another pull out point at Jansen's Landing, directly south of highway 24 (1/2 way between Mackinnon and Johnston's)
