Default Spray Lakes info

Does anybody know what the water levels are at Spray Lake or upper/lower Kananaskis lakes? Was there in June and they were still way down.

We were up that way on the weekend. Spray was good, we launched our 18 foot boat no problem. Had a non windy beautiful day up there on Sat. On Sunday, Upper Kananaskis lake looked like the levels were down. We did launch our boat though. You could see submerged islands so watch as you go. We weren't on it very long as there were huge amounts of hornets all over our boat and us. Little guy is allergic, so we got off the lake and took off. Even the people on shore were swatting them away.

Fishing Flower ( or anybody else) I'm thinking about heading up to Spray this weekend, and was wondering how you did when you were up last week?
Any tip would be appreciated.

Thanks

I thought Spray was closed for fishing for the year? Can I still try my luck at Laker's there?

Spray is open year round. Smelts only. (no minnows allowed)
It's Miniwanka in Banff National Park that has the short season.

Watch your hitch pin while parked there, take an extra! I honestly don't think it was another fisher who did it. We saw cars pulling in the parking lot while out on the water.
