Default Lake Newell

Anyone been fishing on the north side of Lake Newell? Just wondering how thick the ice is and how good they are biting! Thinking of going this weekend

i fished beside the new homes in the canal on xmass ice is about 12inches there and the fish didnt start biting untill 3ish caught one with about 4 bites all day, last year same place i caught a 17lber pike and 3 other nice keepers about 8-10 each, if u are going to try it dont fish right by the dam fish about 100-150 yard away from it, i seem to have good results there
