We are on the list for a Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon. Litter born first part of March 2013. Pickup in late summer 2013 as a started dog. Should be a bird hunting machine. Current choices are Tikka and Beaux - still negotiating with the CEO-Management for this though.

Capper - Dalmation
Wellington - Dalmation
Kadee - Black lab
Lucy - Dalmation
Cinder - Dalmation
Dad was a firefighter grew up with them. Stubborn as a mule, but none ever showed aggression. Great family dog as far as I am concerned. Just very active.

Fritz - Registered Standard Dachshund - Hard on food
Ben - Registered Mini Long Haired Dachshund - A real digger for gophers
Toka - Registered Siberian Husky - Pulled the grand daughter in her sleigh
Max - Chesapeake - the best dog I ever owned - one hell of a retriever, scared of nothing.
Brutus - Purebred Cocker Spaniel - Hard on food and couch cover
Dora - Purebred Cocker Spaniel - From same litter as Brutus - useless - good for yapping out of the window.

Growing up we had a sheltie named ginger
Sister had two kittens named chevrolet and oldsmobile, no idea how she picked those names
Coco - we took her from people we knew who didn't treat her very well, she was supposed to terrier poodle, but i think she had cocker spaniel. Huge overbite and looked like she was smiling all the time. Awesome dog, super protective over my sons.
Kids had a sheltie named king, cause he pranced around like one.
Their second sheltie is named champ.
Best dog was my grandfathers black lab, perpy. Protective over me and my sister, but so darn gentle with us. Gramps warned the mail man not to touch us, but he did and was he sorry after perpy got done chasing him and took a chunk off his pant leg!

Oakley is our 6 months old black lab, though he's starting to answer to the various profanities my wife calls him after he wrecks something or sneaks into the kitchen and steals some food off the counter. He definitely thinks he's human and acts like one of the kids. We'll see how he does on birds here soon.

Family hunting dogs as far back as I can recall:
Tika - Grandfather's Brittany
Benny - Uncle's Springer
Watson - my family's Beagle
Brinney - my family's Springer
Ziggy - different Uncle's Springer
Festus and Majack - other Uncle's black labs
Gunnar - my GSP
Katy - my Dad's GSP
Parker - my Pudelpointer
Kiva - my Pudelpointer
Non-hunting dogs.... there have been a fair number over the years (mostly Aunt's and cousin's dogs) but I can't say I recall any names. The ones my wife had before we got married were:
Rex (or Roo) - mutt
Opi and Guapo - Chihuahuas
Uno - daughter's Chihuahua
