Default My 2011 Archery Mule Deer

My 2011 Archery Mule Deer!
Here are some Pics of the Buck I took on the long weekend. I spotted him with another Buck first thing sat morning and after sneaking through a standing canola field for 2 1/2 hrs I got into shooting distance. At the shot he spun to run and I hit him way to far back. I had to leave him over night and sneak in on him again the next morning. I spotted him being chased by 2 coyotes and managed to sneak in and shoot him again at 2 yards. He ran 20 yards up the creek and died in 3 feet of water.

Great buck!!

Nice to see all the velvet this year.

Now if we can just get them to dye it purple we might even get the 70's back!!

Sorry for the poor quality pics but my camera was dead and had to take the pics with the Blackberry! I will post some better pics once I finish doing the taxidermy on him. He scores 176 1/8 gross and nets 173 6/8
