Default Is there ice on Wab as of Oct 29 2012?

Has anyone been to Wab with in the last few days? Is there ice forming on it?

This weekend is supposed to be warm. I want to head to Wab one or two more times before I put the boat away for the winter.

I thought I would check here to see if anyone was out on the last few days before I drive out, launch and then Titanic my boat.

Thanks in advance.

i have the same question; ice now would be a lil early but it has been cold. lets hope it warms up a bit for one last hurah; sitting in a tent takes the scenery out of fishing and that's half the fun

cheers

Wish I could come join you tomorrow but as expected work is getting in the way of a perfectly good fishing day!

Good luck man!

Anything?

I've noticed the river has ice forming on it.

I'm speculating that Wab has some ice now and that I may need an ice breaker to navigate it....

That would be very brave to venture out on Wabamun lake this time of year.
