Default New PSE?

Who has bought a new PSE within the last year or so? I have been shooting my PSE Stinger for 5 seasons now(my first bow ever) and I think it might be time to upgrade. I was so impressed with the Stinger I am kind of bias towards PSE now lol and want another. How are the new models treating everyone?

I had a pse drive which is part of their pro series I was very happy with it. Only reason I sold it is because i buggered up my neck and shoulder. Take a look at the pse prophecy. Very nice bow. Hope this helps.

I had a stinger a few years back (2009), then (2011 ish) I bought a PSE EVO 7 , had it for 2 1/2 years, it was a very nice bow, shot quick, fast , quiet, ( killed a bull elk and a deer wih it) I would reccomend that to anybody who asked. I sold that after an accident and could not shoot anymore. but now I bought a PSE DNA SP for xmas this year. The EVO and the DNA are in the skullworks camo which I like, IMO. If PSE would still make that EVO 7 I would have bought another one of those. The PRO series bows are nice bows.

x2 mine shoots awesome and tuned up super nice.

there are pretty much 4 levels with the PSEs - budget entry bows, more expensive single cams, budget pro series, and top end pro series. There budget pro series bow are an awesome bang for your buck with good performance. within the pro series you'll have the better priced ones that come with cheaper limb pockets and in house PSE strings which aren't real great and the high end stuff with real good limb pockets and Americas Best Strings.

I'd be interested in what you all say about the PSEs, a friend of mine has an older
model and has been talking about upgrading but would like to stay with PSE.

I'm an older Mathews fan myself but firmly believe what gives the shooter the most
confidence is what is the best for that shooter.
Then it's up to the shooter to decide if he is ok with the results.
The man asks himself a question, could it be better or is it ok ?

The whole idea is have total focus and thought and clear vision on the center of the dot or spot behind the shoulder and not the equipment, bows, arrows, pins or anything else.
Zen kind of thing I guess.

I've also got a Supra Max as well as a Dominator Pro. They are both drillers and easy to tune.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the input guys. Now i'm pretty much set on upgrading . Other than S.P. Archery Lanes who else sells PSE in or around Edmonton? I'm a lefty so I figure it will be a few stops before I can test them all.

Just as a side note, I have a HydraPress I use on my Mathews,
Do you need to have an Apple or a forked limb vise for the new PSEs ?

Thumbs up New PSE?

You need to go to Trophy Book Archery in Spruce Grove. I was out this week and tried some left hand bows. Give them a call and see if they have the PSE lefty that you are looking for. They have quite a few left hand bows for sale in the shop. Nice to see a shop that is aware of us lefties and tries to help us out. Really risky to order a new bow if you've never shot one like it before.

Feels awesome, shoots very nicely Turns out my sight is buggered though. But thats ok. Gotta get my form and technique down before I open the distance up. Its wonderfully balanced and nice and quite. I should be able to post up pics later in the year of an elk with the bow lol

I was shooting a 2010 PSE Bow Madness, then upgraded 2 years ago to a 2012 Dream Season EVO.....I love this bow! I know 2 people shooting the PSE Drive, and they are really liking it as well.
