Good call on the floatant, very important especialy when spin fishing as you can not just make a couple false casts to shake the water out of the fly if it starts sinking.

Ahh, so it sounds like the stuff is worthwhile then...glad I picked some up

As for trying the flies out, I only took a few casts with the setup, mostly to see if I had everything figured out at least mostly right (which I think I did ) But most of the evening I followed BBJ's lead and was fishing on the bottom (can't argue with results!)

Maybe tomorrow I'll try it a little more seriously...we shall see!
