Default Lac Des Arcs?

Lac Des Arcs is right next to Exshaw across the Bow river and I was wondering if anyone has fished there? I have been told by a few people there isnt any fish in there because its to muddy or something but it is a decent size lake and I am convinced there has to be some fish in there. I am going to try it regardless but it anyone here knows about it or has fished it any info would be appreciated ty.

Lac Des Arc freezes solid in the winter. It is not deep enough to prevent winterkill.

There used to be lot's of Trout in there at one time.... I think they used to stock it but I haven't fished it in years so couldn't say for sure. Others might know...

As far as I understand, that lake is used to cool the cement plant, which is very shallow. I have only seen the odd person throw a line in there, and I have NEVER heard of anything being caught. My advice is keep heading west....
