We've been in the middle of a worldwide war since not too long after 9-11.

Maybe not ww3, However, it seems that when the economy is in the dump, the war mongering profiteer crawls out of his hole. Something big is coming!

Default Yes!

There is a global s**tstorm brewing. Things are going to get real in the next year or two. Europe will erupt and it will cascade from there.

yes, it is. We're all going to die. Time to start stockpiling bottled water.

Yes. I firmly believe that historians will look back at this time in history and conclude that our Archduke Ferdinand moment was the Arab Spring. Things have started cascading from this point. It will still take a few years, and more 'events' involving Europe/China/Russia for it to fully evolve into an all out world war. The groundwork is even laid for another holocaust with Iran being 'potentially' nuclear (I cannot understand why we don't take them at their word). Just the fact that media like Huffpo is even saying the words tells me that the masses are being slowly massaged into the concept. Those who know nothing of history are doomed to repeat it.

Tinfoil hat on firmly!

World wars are fought between countries. Isis has no country, just a religion.

Once the big players get rolling, you won't be hearing about Isis anymore.

Not as a world war per say but smaller wars will continue on forever.
That is how we have evolved to today just on various scales of war.

Statistically this world is a much safer place then it ever was but the media doesn't tell that story. Good way to keep citizens in line, keep them scared. I've seen the effects in my own life. My 85 year old dad was a shining example of tolerance all my life, never heard him say a bad word about another culture or race. Now all of a sudden he's a Islamphobic and there are terrorists under our beds. Thanks Steven Harper, scaring seniors worked for a couple elections but not this time.

Yes it is. However my guess is it's years away. One just has to look at who all runs the United Nations and where it is heading, and eventually there will be a big war. We don't get smarter as we are on the world longer. Nothing I can do about it so it is something I don't even bother worrying about.

Default No terrorists yet ...

Brian ,you shouldn't have Muslim Terrorists under the bed till
After the new year . I'm putting mine in the new garden shed .
Everyone has to do their part. This enemy will not be stopped
Without being totally annihilated. As far as Nuking them ,that's
The question where to send the payload . When the Trumpster
Is supreme leader ...then the cavalry will out in full force .
Keep your powder dry..

Might even be in Alberta the way things are going.

Every decade there is an end of the world crisis, still waiting.

Anybody remember "duck and cover" drills in school?

Ask yourself this question . . .
Just what is it that government has in mind
that they feel they cannot do with an armed society?

I don't really think our non military sporting arms are really much of a threat to the firepower the military can summon these days do you? They can see you at night and take you out from 100 miles away....

Yup I sure do. Things were a lot simplier then as well. There were them and there were us. The good guys and the bad guys. Sure we were at anytime about to be melted but the Russions didn't want to die anymore than we did.
There was none of this bull**** Islamic blow yourself up and get 72 virgin crap.

The commies for as evil as they were didn't do the crap these Islamic terrorist are willing to and are doing. They at least didn't believe in a religion that was started by a pedifile.

There are a LOT more of us than there are of them, and we know where they live.
Sam Colt called small arms 'the great equalizer'.

Armies are easier to defeat strategically than tactically, and there are many recent examples of much smaller and less well armed forces defeating a much lager and better armed force.

Democidal governments killed 262 MILLON of their own mostly disarmed citizens in the last century.
An armed citizenry does not prevent Democide by a determined government, but it has not yet actually happened, because while a determined government could prevail tactically it would lose all support strategically.
Think of it as a deterrence (like MAD, mutually assured destruction) that makes the cost impossible for either party to endure.

Good Luck and God save us all.

China, US, Europe, Russia... All have citizens killed by ISIS.

It is not a WORLD WAR if they are cooperating.

If they join forces and plan properly it should be long. 4 front ground war with air support. Priceless. They just need their MasterCard.

Trudeau can watch from the sidelines hold onto his fair share.
