Honestly, if you're still that hung up on her, why get divorced? Hate and love are the same emotion with the poles reversed. The opposite of love is indifference.
I don't view that as illustrating him being hung up on her at all. I view this as a dude with an epic sense of humor and creativity. It doesn't illustrate hate either, they are joyous images he wishes to share. There's no hate spewing involved in my opinion.
I would withhold judgment until I knew the circumstances. Is the new wife the former mistress and the guy's a total jerk, or did the ex screw him over and he wants to show how he has moved on and how happy he is now? Hard to say. In ay event, it's a lot of effort to try to bother someone you used to have a life with.
