Red face Macgregor March 1

Howdy fishers, just a quick report... fished the north end of Macgregor yesterday for about an hour... seems absolutely dead, so I went south on 842 looking for a coulee on the west side where I fished before, couldn't seem to find it though, so ended up on the south side where I got a few smaller jackfish and one biggerish guy (27ish)... sure would have been a better day if I didn't spend a bunch of time looking for that coulee.

Anyone got any tips on where this thing is? I recall it was near a gas meter or something. Am I allowed to cut thru there?

Oh, and had some car trouble... when I left, as soon as i hit 80km/h my car was just shaking like mad! I figured out, after taking a wheel off, that there was ice built up unevenly on the inside of the wheel. Never had that happen before, but it would have been a rough ride back to calgary if I didn't figure it out.

The trails I tried to get in on are too badly drifted in. In the dips the farmer can't even get his tractor in there, so if you get stuck your STUCK, happy diggin. We fished the South end Sat. and did fairly well. No big fish but was a good day. Caught more walleye than pike.

Was no way I could've fished without a hut though, it was cold with the wind.
