Default what to try

can anyone shed some light on what flys a guy should betrying on the lakes such as lees ,beaver ,pain/ this time of year :hat

Number 6 to 8 woolly buggers, 12-14 hares ear nymphs, have some #10 and 12 drys such as Adams as it will pick up very soon as well. Those are some of my standbyes on those lakes early on in the season. Have you heard if the ice is fully off Beaver Mines yet? If your up there flourescent pink streamers work in the spring as well. I want to get out next week. I dug out my belly boat and canoe gear, can't wait.

hey thanks alot j.r.s. i will pick these up and give them a try tommorrow,i will find out about beaver a.s.a,:hat p. thanx again ,might see ya out on the lake one day, im in a mistyriver alum 14'

If i end up getting out there I'll be in a little brown truck with a green canoe. Good luck, i think you'll find some pleasant fishing if the weather holds up!! Trout are in great shape this year.
