I load mine with 150 grain Nosler partitions,52-54 grains of IMR 4350.( Start low and work up 1/2 grain at a time) WW cases,CCI magnum primer.

Have also used the Norma factory loads in 150 grain partition, great cartridges.

Have shot everything from Gophers to Moose with this load. Hit em right and the job is done.

How was the blood sausage?

What bullet were you using? Looks like the hole I made in a doe with a 140 Berger out of a 270 WSM last fall. They don't go far when that happens!

For your needs I agree with buckman.
Get some loads with 150 grain Nosler Partitions. I have had through the years 6 rifles in .270 and they all shot well with 150 Partitions. Use them for deer, bear, elk and moose.
You never ever have to look back. Once you determine which factory load shoots best in your particular rifle, you go and purchase 200 rounds of the same lot number.

My suggestion would be to investigate reloading your own and have an entire world of opportunities open up.
