Default Firearms Politics Topic?

Hi all

I just watched a Sun News Network video... an episode of "Byline" that spoke about a payment system called "Square"... a little unit that you plug into a smartphone that allows you to make payment transactions.

Specifically, the video was about "Square" disallowing what it deems to be "Prohibited" transactions. And on that list, apparently, is gun dealers. They have decided that they will not support transactions for this purpose.

To me, this warrants a reaction. If they decide to use their Square unit to boycott the gun industry, maybe we should boycott their boycott and simply not use their utility in response.

There are so many issues of this nature, and so many groups and individuals, including many government elements that support their slant on those issues, I'm thinking we should have a "Firearms Politics" Topic just to chat about what is going on and who is trying to influence what in the firearms world in our country.

There are a lot of people making a disproportionately large noise, trying to wreak whatever havoc they can for shooting sports enthusiasts, it seems to me it's about time we started rebuffing or reacting to some of the tripe they keep spouting.

Have a great day!

Not disagreeing, but it just seems to me that every firearms politics thread quickly devolves into a fight over whether CCW is a good idea.

Ha! Yes, true.

I say let's stick to the topic or reasonable strays, but absolutely nothing on CC.
