I was out walking around the bush doing some scouting today and I was thinking about the problem that the APRA is having with the City of Calgary when it comes to renewing the lease for that range. I've decided that you folks should know about this, and hopefully someone out there who knows what's happening there can explain what's going on
I don't have all the info but the situation kind of goes like this, or at least this is what I understand by listening to what was said in the meeting.
The lease is about to expire for the Steve Johnson Range.
When the APRA vacates the range, they need to clean it up (including the lead in the stop). Estimated cost, 1 mil
ARPA wants to extend the lease.
City of Calgary does not give an extension or renewal of the lease but tells the APRA to talk to City Police.
