Default Kimber Montana Stocks - do they scuff bad?

Likely gonna buy one in the next few days. For anyone who has one, do the stocks scuff easily?

How does she shoot? I am debating on whether to get the 25-06 or a 270.

Default Kimber

I have been using the Montana now for maybe 6 years on sheep trips and I cant believe how hardy the stock is, finish remains essentially the same as new. I thought during one horse wreck that the stock would be snapped in half or the barrel bent when I plucked up the courage to remove it from the scabbard all was in order?? No complaints about Kimber from this owner. D.H.

It shoots very well. 110 grn accubond with RL 15. It does need to be cooled off pretty good though for consistency during load development

Default kimber

Own a 30-06 and it shoots very well . Do not use it much , seems to pretty to take out hunting , only used it at the range to break the barrel in. Haven't decided to keep it or sell it , they are very nice to shoot.
