Default Ammo help. 6.5 c. Accuracy

Using fed varmint 95gr in tikka.Ctr. 6.5 creedmoor. 1/8 twist
Getting a flyer every four rounds or so. (Like 3 in 3” at 300y and one in 5”)
I’m not the shooter so anything’s possible.
Is this ammo crap for this gun???
Thank for any help. We gotta get this right.

My Tikka T3x 6.5cm does well with heavier bullets. I'm shooting sub moa with 143 grain ELDX, also did well with 130 grain Federal ammunition.

That’s a pretty fast twist for such a light bullet
But if your shooting factory ammo your likely SOL
likely velocity differences causing poi change

Let get this straight.
You’ve tried a single factory loading and it shot not so great……
Exactly how many groups did you try at this distance?
Was it always the last shot in the group that was the flyer?

Not being a jerk. That is no flyer. It’s the guy behind the trigger.

It’s random shots that are flyers. He has shot about 40 rounds of this ammo.
Tried different distances 200y to 500y (10 x 3 shot groups) and there is always flyers.

You’re coming in loud and clear. Any other thoughts?

I'd definitely try a few different bullet types before doing something drastic.

Have someone else shoot the rifle.

I’m thinking it’s the nut behind the bolt…..

Other thoughts are it’s factory ammo at the low weight end of the spectrum.

He will have to get more serious about shooting.
It takes me a long time but I figure out exactly what my equipment does. But then I know what shot is doable. That’s part of the fun for me. People have different ideas on what shooting is ok.
Thanks for your help.

Friend of mine could neve figure out why his 3rd. shot always went out of the group. He is a very good shot but when he tried to put that last shot into the tiny group he would reach up and grab his sling and pull down in an attempt to get the rifle to hold steadier. When I pointed it out to him his groups, grouped very well indeed. Sometimes it is the the littlest things that throw a group off. Have a buddy (preferably a good shooter) watch you as you shoot. PS three shot groups really don't tell you much.

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

What is the purpose of this rifle? For big game move up to a 125 to 143gr big game bullet. If it's a target rifle, try the ELDM.
