Default Gloves when using arrow release?

Curious what everyone is doing to keep their hands warm now that the temperature is decreasing when using a release? I have trouble using the release with thicker gloves on so I have a pair of the cheap tight cotton ones and cut the fingers off...but they aren't too warm and do nothing for staying dry.

Thx

I use a thin pair of gloves, then a thick pair of winter socks over top that I remove when I pick up my bow to shoot. Works quite well for me.

Take your mitts off to shoot anything, gun or bow. My buddies laugh at me, the mitts start flying when I’m getting down to business.

I usually keep my release hand in my pocket until I need it. If its really cold I have a pouch that i wear around my waist and I put my hands in there with a pocket warmer or two. I use that set up for waterfowl and rifle season as well. When I'm stalking I've never really noticed the cold. I think the adrenaline keeps that at bay.

I use those finger tip gloves with a fold over mitt that velcros back. Work wells for my truball release and rifle.

Golf gloves work well. The leather is thin and barely noticeable.
In single digit temps, for bowhunting from a tree stand, I'll wear one on my bow hand. Release hand can stay in a pocket if it is feeling chilly.

That said, not everyone feels the cold the same.

Wife bought me a fanny pack style hand muff last year and its awesome...wear gloves walking in/out.

While sitting hands are bare and warm inside the fanny pack.

Have a pair of thin gloves that I actually find quite comfortable to shoot in and don't lose any feel. If the hands get cold I use some large Titleist cart mitts designed for cold weather golfing.

I wear big mitts that my release fits in, take them off before I shoot...always shoot in bare hands no matter what the weather.

Been wearing a hand muff for a lot of years now in cooler temps. Wear thin gloves inside the muff too.

I wear a pair of sitka bow gloves. Enough to keep the edge off and good protection for stalking. I let out my release by 1 notch and I shoot exactly the same as bare hands.

I use a pair of Sitka bow gloves too in the early season when it's just getting cold. They work well. Very thin but gives you some warmth.

I use these for the rest of the season. They are still thin, not bulky, but are warmer than the Sitkas. I like these too because they have a bow release collar on them.

I do my best to shoot with no gloves but when it gets really cold I wear a pair of First Lite fingerless merino gloves.

Just got a set of whitewater outdoors bow gloves. I love them and I’m not really a glove guy.

I have skinny hands and found a (non-pink) Girls with Guns set that fit just fine under my release. On sale at Cabelas for only about $10.
