You're right you paid for it and can do what you want. Speaks volumes about character though.

You might see what the big deal is about giving away wild meat if you understood that for some Canadians it's NOT an unlimited, unrestricted resource.

I realize it's a foreign concept for some, but for others it's a reality.... sad, I know.
I have a full time job, so already have to plan my hunts around my work schedule. Here we have general open seasons for moose so I can hunt 1 every year. When I have a lot of success hunting, a lot of disadvantaged people benefit. For me that's a win.

Yeah, here's a pack of deer blackstrap along with the secret family sausage recipe... not happening. I'll ask you if you want some of my game, not the other way around.

YOU have no limit or season. If YOU could only abide by regulations given to people who who don't have "hunting rights" then you would understand what the big deal is. I don't kill animals to the excess I could never possibly eat them all, by your own admission you do. I see a very big ethical issue there.

If there was no such thing as "hunting rights", chances are I wouldn't have to wait 5yrs between being given the opportunity to harvest a moose for my family, and you wouldn't be out killing more animals than you could possibly eat.

Can you see why some people see hunting rights an out dated and much abused claus?
