Default Caught a surprise last weekend!

Wasn't looking for it to happen, never thought it would happen, but I lost my sturginity.

About 2 feet - just a baby. I think I put too much weight on due to the high-fast NSR, and it probably took my worm to the bottom.

So when I landed this baby, I was one very happy camper.

Congratulations! That must have been very exciting. For all the fishing I have done on the NSR, and all the fish I have caught in it, I have yet to catch one.

Awesome!

I would like to catch one some day, but they aren't in the rivers up here.

I love the photos. That's about as good as fishing photos can get. A very happy angler, there is nothing better.

I wasn't even looking to catch sturgeon, was trying to get the goldeye. Friends had caught 3 the week before at the same place.
