Default Braid Question

So here is my question, when fishing braid and a fluoro leader, what is the significance of running a 20lb braid say for pike and lake trout vs a 30 lb braid with the same fluorocarbon leader?

Aside form the obvious strength difference there is hardly any difference in diameter of braid and with the same fluoro what are the pros and cons of using a stronger braid? Less sensitivity?I can't really think of much else....

Line capacity

How easy it is to cut through the water. eg The thinner line will allow your deep running cranks to dive just a little deeper.

Visibility

But you are correct the difference is minimal between 20 and 30 lb braid.
