Does anyone have cougar hounds?

I spend much of my time (daily) working and driving west of Sundre and Rocky. It is not uncommon to cut fresh cougar tracks or to know where cougars are commonly spotted.

I am starting to think I want to get in on a hunt but I have no desire to own hounds.

I am just throwing this out there on the off chance someone wants to chat about a collaboration.

If you are interested in a cougar hunt i know someone who has dogs in the rimbey area.Are you looking for a guided hunt?

I am not looking for a guided hunt. I am not even sure I want to shoot a cougar.

I think I am in a pretty good position to help a hound owner out by locating tracks and relaying information about hotspots and sightings. I would just like to experience a cougar hunt...see what it is about and take it from there.

swagger, my buddy Shane has three hounds but we are down here in Cochrane, give me a call and I'll tell you my ewe story in full and talk cats abit. We have cut some good one's this yr. so far down here!!!

Found a couple of old tracks today as the weather was warming up gonna turn out my hound on boxing day can't wait!!!!

So if a friend is riding through the mountains checking cows, and he sees a big bull elk or a wallow he can't tell me about it? As long as no money is exchanged this shouldn't be a problem, should it?
