Salmon arm / chase BC where should I fish?

So I purchased a boat part on Kijiji and will probably be headed that way soon from Calgary to go pick it up. It’s quite the drive so i figured I could break up the drive by doing some fishing. Anyone recommend some rivers or lakes I can stop and try fishing as I don’t think I will Drag the boat way down there and back.
