Duck hunting around edmonton

Hi guys, me and my dad are still new to duck/goose hunting in Edmonton. We're looking for a good spot or just a general location to go hunting at. We tried tofield and got no luck. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Tofield is a great area, are you trying to spot a field shoot, or jump shoot ponds?

I haven't looked at the regulations this year, but typically the north end of Beaverhill is open while the south is closed. I have had some good duck shoots around toefield, but have always found the grain fields to the west to be productive. As well, you'll find several groups of sloughs right at the north end where the old creek bed ran out and across highway 16.
