Ice is getting thick darn near need an extension already.
There are some big ice heaves and rough surfaces but most are able to be passed one way or another.
Fishing I would still consider slow however very hit and miss.

Given the statement of major ice heaves, where would you suggest we access the lake for some Walleye fishing?

You can get on the east side near the tower and fish the entire bay along shore. There are pike, walleye, and burbs moving through it at various points of the day.

Tons of ice but I'm not sure I'd call it all passable. There are some very sharp protruding ice formations in 'belts' that I wouldn't want to drive over. Though I haven't tried to get around, there would have to be a long drive involved to do so.
