Default New PB Tiger Trout!

I was lucky enough to get out and catch a new personal best trout last weekend! I was surprised how shallow the trout were feeding, and aggressive to boot. Now is the time to get out there:

Great looking tigers.

Seems like they're doing well there.

There is a small campground at the lake. Ice out is so variable depending on the winter.

Those are some nice Tigers SamSteele! The lakes with protected Tiger Trout are going to be really fun to fish these next few years. Any guesses on how big they are going to get?

Really hoping they will be approved for private stocking soon!

Word is that there are a couple 30” in there. Biggest I’ve caught is a 27” through the ice.

SamSteele - I would be willing to bet that 27” Tiger Trout would have been a provincial record... I looked quickly at the records in the regulations (page 96) but there was no tiger trout posted, maybe the record is up for grabs!
