Default Alberta Beach Fishing ?

Has anyone reacently went out fishing to Alberta Beach ? Any luck ? and what kind of fish are there ?

Havent been to it recently but theres walley and pike that i know of.

I was out there 3 weeks ago, caught 17 walley and 6 pike. There are whitefish and burbot out there too but Ive only seen them caught in the winter. Everything we caught was small, 2 to 3 pounds at the most. Best luck was with 5 of diomands and custom painted true fire hook in the picture.

Was at AB Beach today and we did alright.

Some walleye - all fairly small (15") caught on the west side of "seagull island" in about 12-14' water.

Typical jig and leech setup with one caught on the slip bobber.

Had better luck in the "2nd" half of Ste. Anne - the west end where West Cove is. Caught lots of fish around Farmers island.
