Default all's quiet on the elk front

Well, we walked for hours on sunday.
didn't get one little sniff of buggling. We were almost on top of
them. found lots of fresh droppings, sign ,beds, rubs you name it
they were close but I guess they were still pretty quiet. so we'll
try again this week-end.
Oh yeah we were in the dismal creek area. anyone try carrot creek for the opener?

the kids were out on the week end said they hada couple young bull rag horns andspikers come in but nuthin leagal andone 3 pointer but no clear shot other than that they saidit was just way 2 quiet
