Default Wabamun open water?

Hi all,
Dumb question: is there still any open water during winter at Wabamun?

I haven't been to the canals in winter for long time...

Thanks!

Not since they tore down the old power plant in town. The other two plants have there own ponds/reservoirs and don't dump water directly into the lake.

Sundance dumps water into the lake, so yes there is open water in that area.

I haven't been to Sundance in years. Last time I was there that whole area was fenced off. Can you access the water there again?

Don't drive under the trestle either. Someone goes through there every year
