Wasn't too sure about the yellow but the grip looked so good on it. Looking into different brands of strings.

Nothing special compared to what most guys have here... But here's my first bow. Bought it about a month ago and have already got lots of practice with it.

I am new to the forum/hunting and to Alberta, I am originally from Ontario. Recently I picked up this older Sierra Magnum that seems to be in pretty good shape with all you see in the picture for $75. No cracks etc. I need to get it restrung and setup. Sorry for the crappy picture.

20150214_142239.jpg

If any of you have any specs on this bow that would be great!
Thanks Larry

Thanks Lefty. I really like it, it's a real nice shooter for sure. I find it a little top heavy but that Stokerized SS1 outta fix that up. I can stack arrows pretty nicely with it.

Looks sweet Kurt!
What SS1 did you go with Acrylic or the Harmonic dampener version?
I wish they made the SS1 in 15 or 18 inch model!

I got the acrylic, I'm not too crazy about the look of the harmonic dampener. With what little vibe there is with this bow at the shot without a stabilizer, the harmonic dampener isn't required. Just a cheapo will take out the vibe, it's having the counter balance that was important to me.

Cool Vixcen carbon spyder

I have a Hoyt carbon spyder! Vicxen addition of course. Absolutely love it, and I got my first robin hood with it at 40 yards!
There's quite a few nice bows out there. Cool pics guys.
