Thanks sooner.
I've got a love for these things. Nothing beats constant perch action, especially the big ones that make your reels scream.

Thanks- use a 1/1/8 spade drill bit and drill dead centre of sled rail.
I've got prob 6 holes in there, they can be useful to use to protect your rods during transport.or I've even drilled a hole right beside the sled for a second line in the water

LOL! No wonder perch get estimated over their actual size. A bottle of water like that is exactly 8 inches... so... I'm guessing, based on the pic, 12.4 inches. A far cry from 16.

Not Snappy at all. 16 inch are incredibly rare if not almost impossible in AB. 13 is a huge trophy here. 16 is usually from another locale.

I pipelined a few yrs back up north in the boonies and we were near 3 small deep lakes,at night we borrowed a tank truck drivers auger and to our surprise all three of these lakes were loaded with 10-16" perch. I would love to try and find them again! We never did hear a name of these water holes nor did we care at the time. They were 10 mins from camp and made the winter fly by.Every night beers and jumbos
