A fisherman who lives in Rouyn-Noranda is very excited about the large fish he caught on the weekend.
David "Larry" Gagnon-Lariviere was ice fishing on Saturday when he landed the 32-lb pike.
Earlier in the day he had been talking to a community TV show about ice-fishing, and about half an hour later noticed he had a bite on his line.

Gagnon-Larivievere hauled in his catch, knowing while he was doing so that he had a substantial fish at the end of his line.
After he weighed and measured the pike, Gagnon-Lariviere put in back in the water.
He's not saying exactly where he was fishing, hoping the body of water will prove fruitful again in the future.

Man thats an ugly old fish. We have those in our waters too. Josh Schuett catches the monsters every year. Used to post on here as Secret Coulee I think but must have been chased off. Now we only see him on Face book most of the time.
