Default Custom Turret Labels

Hello everyone,

Just curious if anyone else is creating their own custom turrets? I stumbled on this website a few years ago and it has changed the way I hunt. I always use to use BDC reticles and taped the reticle and distances to my rifle stock. Then I found this site .....

https://turretlabels.com/

and I have been printing my own custom turrets ever since. I did have to upgrade a few scopes to exposed turrets but it is well worth it and saves a ton of time while hunting and is great for target shooting as well. As long as you know your dope you can create a custom turret label. I bought some waterproof sticker paper on Amazon and usually print a test strip on regular paper but once I confirm it fits I print on waterproof paper and attach it to the scope turret.

I just came across the video below and was surprised this was not more common. So I thought I would pass it on. Hope it helps someone else as well.

Cheers

For target shooting and comps I use the turret tapes from idts-dryfire.com.
And a dry erase marker. I suppose I could make my own but I just don’t want to put in the time to do that.

I can see these being handy for hunting and "normal" shooting.
Only in the case of ULR shooting, conditions can dictate different dope than what was used to create the turret label. Just something to consider....

I recommend white hockey tape, and a bic pen.

My range finder bino's take care of all that info for me.

Just range and dial. They consider outside temp and make the adjustments for me so I don't need to consider at that fun stuff.

Really if you are a regular at shooting out to distances you should have a range finder of some sort, and most have the programs now to take care of all that.

In any distance situation even past 300m you will need some way to measure that, sooooo.
