Burbot in Waiparous Creek??

I was just looking at information on Waiparous creek and one of the species listed was Burbot, has anybody actually caught any there?

no, but have caught a ton in ghost lake which is fed partially by the ghost river which is dumped into by the waiporous by the village. More cutties and whitefish than other species.
