Default Mosquito Proof Coat

Like the title says I’m look for a light coat that is mosquito proof so that your arms, shoulders, back etc are covered. Thinner is better so it’s not hot. Water resistant/proof would be nice too. Just don’t want to covering up with bug spray all the time.

Any good quality light (coated) rain jacket will do and a long sleeve shirt. Seems simple to me.

As for any part of you showing, have you ever tried PiActive? You can get it a Cabelas and other sporting goods stores. Comes in green plastic spray bottle. Usually has a small compass on the top. No deet, no noticeable smell, and works like a damn.

Trust me. I live on a farm surrounded by creek land. The amount of mosquitos here is astounding.

By the way, if anyone is interested in a mosquito vacuum / trap, propane powered. The Mosquito Magnet is pretty amazing. I have the top end one and dumped out a full container of large, dried our mosquitos the other day. Easily a few thousand sucked up in 3 days. Made for really gross looking pile of dead ones...but the robins liked me

Default shoo bug jacket

I have something called a shoo bug jacket that is a mesh type fabric to allow for circulation. Bought it a long time ago and don't remember from who or when. Maybe a google search.

Cannot speak to its effectiveness. Saw a commercial and thought maybe it's something you could consider.
