Default Ceawling Valley yesterday

Had a good day again at Crawling Valley yesterday.
We caught 5 pike, 3 big burbot largest on the scale at 8 lb 12 oz., and a couple nice walleyes. Lost a couple big ones that didn't want to make the turn up the holes as well. Ice is solid again and wind blew like crazy. Was toasty in the shack so weather was a none factor. Biting was best on the jig and minnow combo.

Good to hear you had some luck - and that you were able to stay warm. Notice any difference in the color jig head you were using?

We use the same as we have been that has been working well all winter there so far. We use a 3/8 oz fuzz e grub techniglow jig with small smelts in a light green color. Seems to work well for everything in the lake.

Head a little farther north up the lake. There are lots of islands
on the east and a few on the west. Just work out in the front of any of these. We have had good luck in front of any of these where we have dropped a line. Same thing goes for summer fishing at CV.
