Some of the orders take a while....it depends on whether they have 'stock' or not or if you're ordering a custom one. I waited 21 weeks for mine. As for getting across the border, its no issue....

Have to ask, what is the $ limit on what the US will allow to be exported to Canada?

I was informed that a rifle stock is defined as a firearm part and so can't be shipped to Canada. How was your stock shipped? Directly to you or through a firearm retailer?

It's American made...you shouldn't have to. My last one arrive without GST, duty or the normal $5 Canada Post charge.

How do you get yours, Sheep? I have had an interest in them, but not enough of an intrest to part with 5 bills, but now that i am working on a lightweight project, I may have to spend the money.

It was mailed right to my house. Value was on it and everything but it seems sometimes Canada Post just doesn't bother with the GST....not sure why. I'd highly reccomend you don't buy one....you won't be able to stop at just one....

I guess i should re-word, where do you get them, as in supplier? The original wording of my question was pretty poor, oops.

Only pay DUTY on products NOT MADE IN USA (ie:China)

Thats what our NAFTA is for.

As for a MacMillan stock, I'm still waitinf to find another Sako m75 rifle for the action to do another semi-custom rifle with a MaaMillan stock.

Might just order the stock in so I have it and then I'm ready to go whe the time happens.

This info really sucks I never knew mcmillan could ship direct. I got an hs direct right to my door but that was before the laws changed! I assumed this was the same for all manufactures. This sucks because i got a certain gunsmith to bring one in for me and i had to pay 780 big ones and they were goin for around 500 american at the time. I guess ill order straight from mcmillan next time. Man do i feel hosed!

I have heard that the Remingtons are going out a lot faster. Really hoping that means the same thing for my Model 7 as it seems like the 700's are moving quicker than before!
