Default Other Scams

The thread on Kijji got me thinking. Lot's of other ways and means , scumbags are trying to get our money. This is a fax I received, around new years. Looks legitimate enough, at first glance, except it's the wrong time of year for a Yellow Pages renewal and the address at the bottom, is in the UK. The logo is very close to the real thing, except it's upside down. Send em your money and you get a listing on their web site, for about 1400. / year.

Default Why not reply?

If you are good at this type of thing you can FAX them tons and tons of stuff on their dime, uses up their long distance $$$ and all their paper. We need to discourage this type of thing. Can Telus make sure they lose their telephone capability?
