Nothing huge yet this year. A couple of my friends are starting to get into some huge walleye from the n s r this week. Bit myself nothing big yet. Actually haven't really been targeting walleye to much though as the goldeye have been to fun.

We used to catch hundreds of goldeyes just below the Bassano Dam on the bow wading out waist deep and firing a p-rig with 1 1/2 oz weight and pieces of dew worms and just letting it bounce down current with a slow retrieve..

Every cast it seemed one victim would bite - many double hook ups ......

They are alot of fun - but never caught anything that size ..... nice gold eye ....

Nice ones Sean. Are you getting them as well on the fly?

No haven't tried fly fishing for goldeye yet. Hoping to get some goldeye over 20 inches this weekend. Thanks for the comments
