Default Shu Springs?

Anyone have any experience fishing for springs in the small shu? Been out the last three days from 5am till 6pm and later and have tried everything in the tool box. Flashers, dodgers, spoons, hoochies, plugs...... seen a few others bring a couple in but haven't had a sniff. Any advice would be great.

From my knowledge the salmon are not to be targeted in the lake but with an appropriate tag on you fresh water licence you can fish them in the Shus river,,,
