Checked out Beaver, Strubel, Mitchell and Twin Lakes.
Beaver, open by airiators , Mitchell open by airiators , Strubel, open around edges, Twin open around edges. All these lakes have very rotten ice, need wind and some sun. May be more open by next weekend at Beaver, enough to get boat in but all are questionable for next weekend. Beaver is catch and release now, no bait allowed, yay

No, didn't bother to go over, figured if Mitchell wasn't ice off yet Ironsides wouldn't be either. I'm sure hoping next weekend to get the pontoon on one or the other.

Oh, Prarrie Creek and Clearwater are both tea stained by Rocky. Hwy 54 a little clearer.

thanks flygirrl for the update. it looks like still 2 weeks to go for most of lakes up in Caroline area. As for beaver, ice will be gone in front of airiators, boat launch wont be ready for a week, by the time boat launch is open, the whole lake should be ice free.

I am hoping to hit up Beaver on my pontoon boat Monday. Let us know how you made out this weekend if you do go? I would MUCH prefer going to beaver than Dickson trout pond but i have a feeling if these lakes are this close then Dickson should be open water.
