That sounds like what I'm looking for. Real rainbows. Looks like I'm going to head down there soon. Thank you.

Don't expect non stop action, and wouldn't keep anything out there.

I would also like to hear the reason not to keep a fish from the oldman res. I have before and they were fine.

Because they are wild and few and far between, same reason I wouldn't keep goldens at Barnaby, totally legal but, that is the moral crossroad that you must choose.

They don't seem scarce. I do quite well in there. Plus I don't think rainbows are even supposed to be in this system naturally.

Was thinking of giving it a try this week for the first time.
Coming so on 22 what is the best way to reach the boat launch? Cannot seem to find anything other than going all the way to #3.
Any help is appreciated.

it isn't really any faster but you can turn west and go by the Buffalo Jump just before hitting the Old Man before Ft McLeod Gravel vs pavement

Goose, which way do you go from Airdrie to get there. Having a time trying to figure that one out. Sure sucks to be getting old.

There's a launch just north of the dam on the east end. Take 2 south and 3 west. Use google maps to place a pin drop and it'll take you straight there
