Need a new fish finder garmin

Just wondering if anyone is using the new garmin striker 7, looking at the sv model as I fish a lot of shallow water. Looking for a review

If chartplotting / cartography capability isn't something you need - this seems to be a good amount of features at a pretty reasonable price.

I was a little surprised to see a GPS capable unit that wasn't capable of chartplotting or cartography. I don't think I've seen that before in a unit that you can't network.

It will store waypoints for you and get you back to the spot - so that might be just fine for you (and maybe most of the guys out there).
