Anyone done the hike lately? About how long did it take?

I hiked into this lake in 1985 with a float tube it took me 2 1/2 hours if i remember right....we went in june 7 and when we got to the lake the ice was out about 60 feet from shore........if u want to mountain bike into this lake u better be alot better biker then me as i wouldn't, doesn't mean it can't be done..........the fish weren't huge with the biggest brookies being around 15 inchs but they were very eager but of course just after the ice goes out that isn't a fair *****ment.......maybe somebody else has been in there in the past few years can help you out

Thanks for the info. I has heard that the trail was "ride-able" and that it wasnt.

Headin up regardless, just on foot!

Hiked up there a couple years ago and if people ride their bikes up there, WOW! they must have legs like tree trunks! Pretty much up hill the whole way as I remember. Great hike though, stayed up there one night and climbed to the peak of the mountain the next day before going heading out! Check to see if it has been stocked recently. When I was there it hadn't been stocked in a few years and the fishing was really slow.

Its worth the effort to get up there, have fun!

We hiked it in Mid June it's a good steep climb, there is no way someone could bike it the way we went. I haven't tried the other trail in yet.

I hiked this last year, but I didn't know there were fish in it. About 2 hours up and 3 hours down at a rather comfortable pace with my wife and dog. Very pretty lake.

Hiked it about 15yrs ago. Fun hike, relatively short. Similar to Prarie Mtn out by Bragg creek.
